What Information Do We Collect?

You can visit SiTime’s Web pages without telling us who you are or revealing any Personal Information about yourself. However, our Web pages do provide opportunities for you to voluntarily provide us with certain Personal Information, including your name, physical address, email address, phone number, fax number, mobile number, company name, position at company and other contact information

What SiTime May Do With Your Personal Information

SiTime gives Web site visitors the ability to “opt in” to receive its newsletters, product information, data sheets, collateral marketing material and requests for sample SiTime products or parts. SiTime may use the Personal Information of visitors requesting such information to enable distribution of these materials and to contact SiTime’s sales representatives or distributors. In the future, SiTime may permit Web site visitors to make purchases of SiTime’s products through its Web site, using Personal Information to facilitate that service.

SiTime may also collect anonymous (non-personal) visitor information such as an IP address, browser type, pages visited and time spent on SiTime’s Web site. This information will be used only by SiTime to better understand our site to improve the customer experience, usability and site content. With Whom Do We Share Personal Information?

If you choose to submit Personal Information to us, SiTime may share that Personal Information with its distributors, sales representatives, dealers, value added resellers and other third parties in SiTime’s distribution channels, as well as with companies providing customer support for SiTime’s products and fulfillment houses with which SiTime contracts to send requested information. SiTime will not rent or sell any Personal Information with third parties that are not part of SiTime’s distribution, fulfillment or customer support channels. All Personal Information shared with SiTime’s third-party service providers will be subject to the restrictions described under “What Others May Do With Your Personal Information” below.

What Others May Do With Your Personal Information

SiTime may share Personal Information with its distributors, sales representatives, dealers, value added resellers and other third parties in SiTime’s distribution channels, as well as with companies providing customer support for SiTime’s products and fulfillment houses with which SiTime contracts to send requested information. These third parties will only be permitted to use Personal Information to provide support for sales of SiTime products, to provide customer technical support for those products, and to provide fulfillment of visitor requests for information about SiTime’s products and services. SiTime will not rent, sell or otherwise share Personal Information with other third parties or permit use of Personal Information for any other purpose.

SiTime may also share aggregate information about its customers and its Web site visitors to advertisers, business partners, and other third parties. For example, we might share that our users are x percent PCs users and y percent Macintosh users. None of this information, however, will contain Personal Information.

SiTime keeps the Personal Information it collects indefinitely. From time to time, SiTime may purge or delete some or all of the Personal Information it keeps in its database.

Does SiTime Provide Means For You To View, Correct or Delete The Personal Information It Maintains In Its Database?

Not currently. However, in the future, SiTime may require you to create a login account before you submit any Personal Information. You may view, correct or delete the Personal Information you submit by logging in to your account.

What Measures Does SiTime Take To Protect Your Personal Information?

Personal Information will only be shared within SiTime on a “need to know” basis. SiTime does not plan to encrypt or use other technological means to protect Personal Information. SiTime will contractually require each third party with whom it shares Personal Information to use reasonable measures to protect that Personal Information. However, SiTime cannot monitor those third parties to ensure that they comply.

Third Party Links

The Web site does provide links to other web sites. Other Internet web sites and services have separate privacy and data collection practices. SiTime cannot control, and has no responsibility for, the privacy policies or data collection activities at another web site.

Children's Privacy Protection

SiTime is sensitive to the heightened need to protect the privacy of children under the age of 13. The material on our Web site is not intended for children and is not targeted to children under the age of 13. SiTime does not knowingly collect data from children and, if we learn that we have received personal data from a child, we will remove this information from our database.

Your Consent

By using this Web site, you consent to the terms of our Online Privacy Policy and to SiTime’s processing of Personal Information for the purposes given above as well as those explained where SiTime collects Personal Information on the Web.
