Nu Horizons Electronics and SiTime sign European distribution agreement

Coventry, UK — November 11, 2008 — Nu Horizons Electronics announces it has signed a European distribution agreement with SiTime, the MEMS-based silicon timing solutions company. As of November 1st, Nu Horizons has rights to distribute SiTime's full range of MEMS-based timing solutions in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Czech Republic and Slovakia. SiTime is the industry leader in MEMS-based silicon timing solutions, including integrable silicon resonator die, and fully packaged fixed and programmable oscillators. The company's portfolio of MEMS-based timing solutions includes the industry's lowest profile oscillator, the SiT8002XT, with a maximum height of just 0.25mm as well as the industry’s first, differential output programmable spread spectrum oscillator the SiT9002.
