The SiTime SiT8003XT low power programmable oscillator offers the world’s thinnest package at 0.25 mm. Coupled with lowest power, fast start-up time and superior mechanical robustness, it is the only solution for a new generation of ultra thin, miniaturized applications such as high capacity SIM cards, smart cards, and Near Field Communication (NFC) cards. The SiT8003XT can also be easily integrated into multi-chip modules (MCM) and System-in-Package (SIP) for clockless chipset solutions.

With its innovative MEMS First™ resonator technology, SiTime is able to mass-produce reliable, high performance silicon timing solutions for a wide variety of applications. Like all SiTime products, SiT8003XT 0.25 mm thin programmable oscillator is lead free and RoHS compliant

  • 3.5 x 3.0 x 0.25 mm package enables applications requiring ultra thin clock oscillators
  • 10 times better reliability and robustness than quartz oscillators (XO), critical for consumables such as high capacity SIM cards
  • Frequency tolerance of ±100 PPM supports interchip USB 2.0 and low power RF interfaces commonly used in SIM card and NFC applications
  • 3.5 mA typical active current and 3–7 µA  typical standby current ideal for use in mobile phones and other  power sensitive devices
  • 3 ms start-up time allows the system to go in and out of standby quickly, critical to battery conservation
  • Extensive programmability enables faster time-to-market
    • Any frequency between 1 MHz to 80 MHz and selected frequencies up to 110 MHz
    • Voltage options of 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 2.8 V and 3.3 V
    • Standby or Output Enable Modes
  • Ultra fast lead time of 2 to 3 weeks enhances our customers’ ability to meet demand fluctuations and reduce inventory overhead

SiT8003XT Advantages
