The SiT9001 programmable spread spectrum oscillator enables system designers to pass Environmental Compliance (FCC, CE, etc.) testing quickly and easily, without the need for redesign or re-manufacture of boards or the use of expensive shielding components. The SiT9001 offers the lowest cycle to cycle jitter in a spread spectrum timing device along with unparalleled flexibility in terms of frequency range, frequency tolerance, supply voltage, and operating temperature range. This device is available in four industry standard packages, including the world’s smallest for a spread spectrum oscillator, enabling easy replacement of existing fixed and programmable oscillators.

The SiT9001 is factory programmable and offers two types of spread modulation: down spread modulation and center spread modulation. Like all SiTime products, the device is lead free and RoHS compliant.
